Thanks Brian. I'll give it a go and let you know how it goes. I posted it 2 weeks ago, and closed it since it started working again; however the issue returned.

no, same dilemma. and, why did it work before? If anything, I've since deleted many plugins to remedy this and still nothing. I've notified my web host to better understand my servers and there shouldn't be a url block that causes a problem for saves such as this, to work before and not now. what now? any other issues it may be? again, sorry for asking in someone else's but my ticket hasn't yet been answered. :P
If it worked before and not now then it must be due to something you changed. Did a web server setting change? Did you modify the theme files? Did you install or upgrade plugins? Did you upgrade WordPress? Something changed to cause this and we need to isolate where the issue is coming from. Completely disable all of your plugins, then re-download a new copy of the theme from ThemeForest and overwrite all of your current theme files on your server with a fresh copy and see if that fixes the issue. You won't lose any content or settings since those are stored in the database, but if you have made any changes directly to any of the theme code then you should make a backup of your current theme files so you don't lose your changes.
