Featured Slider on Minisite Articles

    Spent the last several weeks trying to find a solution to my problem, so this is my last resort. My featured slider/carousel is not showing in the minisite articles. The trending, sizzlin and top ten sliders work fine. The feaure slider is working perfectly on every other type of page, posts etc, even working on the page which has the minisiie included as the frontpage. Everything in the options is unchecked, nothing is disabled. Set the feature slide to use the 'featured' tag .... works everywherer but not on a minisite article. Went to the extreme's of deleting my site, creating a new wordptress, database and just have the theme working with all options reset and still no feature slider when i create a minisite article. Was it not to meant to do it in minisite articles originally? or am i missing something?? I desperately need help before I snap and kill.

    Do you mean completely no featured slider area at all, or you can see the area where the featured slider should be but no articles are displaying in it? Please give me the specific URL to where the featured slider should be displaying but isn't, and then also give me your admin login info so I can login and take a look. Also please tell me the name of the minisite and what page corresponds to the front page for that minisite in the list of pages.

    Looks like the code is setup so it can't display on single minisite articles no matter what the settings are. To fix this edit the inc/featured.php file line 38 and change it from:

    if(is_archive()) $disable = true;

    to this:

    if(is_single() || is_archive()) $disable = true;

    Went to apply your solution of  if(is_single() || is_archive()) $disable = true; .... already found it there and still wasnt showing the featured slider. On a whim, change the true statement to false and checked the minisite article and it worked. So i have no idea if(is_single() || is_archive()) $disable = false; is the proper solution in all cases, but it's working on mine.

    Thanks for taking the time and effort to find and solve my problem.
