    Hi, All icons appear as rectangles when I install the plugin called 'Modern Admin'. Could you please help me solve this issue as I must have Modern Admin installed. Best wishes, Jason
  • Jason replied

    Look towards the bottom of the page (3rd footer on right).

  • Jason replied

    This is only happening on Google Chrome. Internet explorer is working a.ok on my screen.

    Try this. http://industrialthemes.ticksy.com/faq/1845

    Kinshuk,

    Thank you for the response.

    This hasn't resolved the issue.

    I believe that plugin must be interferring with the theme's icon font set. I don't know why that plugin is doing that, but it's some how overriding all of the icon font class names or perhaps the files themselves. You should contact the plugin developer and ask them how to make their plugin play nice with themes that use icon fonts (specifically Fontello icon fonts)

    Brian,

    I appreciate your reply, even though it may have not immediately solved the issue.

    I have contacted the creator or Modern Admin as seen in this ticket here: http://wpprime.com/forum/plugin-support/modern-admin/251

    I will update this ticket as soon as I have a response.

    Brian,

    On the side note, can you tell me how to reduce the white space around the logo at the top?

    It seems a little lost.

    Brian replied

    You could add this to your custom CSS theme option:

    #logo {margin-top:0px;margin-bottom:0px;}

  • Jason replied

    Brian,

    Thank you for this.

    Unfortunately there still seems to be a large white space between the bottom of the logo and the "latest news bar".

    Can you please offer your recommendations?

    In response to the icons, currently one of their developers is looking into the issue.

    Brian replied

    That's because the sizzlin slider has top margin. Remove it by additionally adding this:

    #sizzlin-wrapper {margin-top:0px;}

    Brian,

    My web developer is having some issues. Here is his question (statement):

    "Jason,

    Update: if i carry out changes in PHP files its not currently reflect in the front side. For example, for the article page if I change /wp-content/themes/flavor/inc/page-content.php file it is not giving any result on the front end. This may suggest a caching issue, in which I have contacted your web hosting company who have refreshed all server/web caches. They told me to contact the theme author to provide a response on this."

    Can you help?

    Ta,

    Brian replied

    This is definitely not a theme-related issue - I have no idea why they told you to contact me. It's a caching issue or you're simply not editing the right file.

  • Jason replied

    Brian,

    Thank you for your response. I believe this has now been sorted as was down to web hosting company.

    Brian, I have another question for you.

    Could you tell me how I would take out the 'decimal' points from the 'numbers' category review rating? For example 1.0 / 2.0 / 3.0 / 4.0 instead of 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5 etc.

    Cheers,

    Brian replied

    Glad the first issue was fixed. Do you mean you want each criteria to no longer display decimals (but the total averaged rating still can) or do you want even the total averaged rating to round as well?

  • Jason replied

    Yes each criteria. Haivng the decimal point is a little too 'much', if you see what I mean.

    You would need to edit lines 108 and 109 of the functions/minisite-meta-boxes.php file to this instead:

    for($i=10;$i>=0;$i--)
    	echo '<option value="'. $i .'" "'.selected( $meta, $i ).'>'. $i .'</option>';
